Ethan Schrum

Ethan Schrum is assistant professor of history at Azusa Pacific University in Southern California. A former IASC postdoctoral fellow, Schrum holds a Ph.D. in history from the University of Pennsylvania. His scholarship centers on American intellectual history, with particular interests in the character of modernity, the intellectual foundations of liberal democracy, the US role in the world, and the history of universities and academic disciplines.
