Jeffrey C. Isaac is James H. Rudy Professor and Chair of the Department of Political Science at Indiana University, Bloomington. He is also Book Review Editor of Perspectives on Politics and has published a number of books, including Democracy in Dark Times (1998) and The Poverty of Progressivism (2002). He also serves on the Editorial Board of Dissent magazine.
