Thomas Cushman is Associate Professor and Chair of the Sociology Department at Wellesley College, General Editor for the series “Post-Communist Societies and Cultures,” and Editor of Human Rights Review. He has published numerous papers and books on Soviet society and the Balkans and has co-edited, with Stjepan G. Mestrovic, This Time We Knew: Western Responses to Genocide in Bosnia.
