Lenny Moss, a former Berkeley and UCSF molecular cell biologist and Notre Dame professor of philosophy, is presently living in London, lecturing at a British university, and working on a new book about the science and philosophy of “natural detachment and the emergence of normativity.” He is the author of What Genes Can’t Do (MIT Press).
