Ronald Aronson is Distinguished Professor Emeritus of the History of Ideas at Wayne State University. He has written articles for The Nation, Boston Review, and Tikkun. His books include We: Reviving Social Hope; Living without God: New Directions for Atheists, Agnostics, Secularists, and the Undecided; and Camus and Sartre: The Story of a Friendship and the Quarrel That Ended It.
